The Murphy's

As a kid I always felt that I didn't fit in but playing with the neighbors dogs was always my happy place." I believe in the Pure Breed dog, so started studying breeds at 10 yrs old and went to 4H with my 1st Yorkshire Terrier. I was told I couldn't get my 1st show dog until I had a job. So, started working and got my own place and finally got my 1st show dog - a Chinese shar pei, from Brenda Cook. Then I meet my husband and we went all over NY going to dog shows.  Then we decide to get out of NY and move to NC.

After being in Shar Pei for a number of years I decide I wanted to get a dog that was a little more active. That's where we meet Kathy Wosnak  with Calvary's Dalmatians. She gave me a chance with her pick male and I didn't let her down. We have grown really close and now we breed together.
Then after a number of year we decide to get our 1st German Shorthaired Pointer.  We feel in love with the breeds versatility. These dogs are great at doing anything from hunting, dock diving, agility and just being a couch potato with you. 
We are now member of the German Shorthaired Club of America, Central Carolina Dalmatian Club and Fayetteville Kennel Club. We believe in Preserving the pure breed dog.
